An abundance of cards

I have really had the urge to create cards lately, and I've had the time... so here are some of my newest creations.

Most of the cards were made with the retired Satmpin' Up set - Nice N' Easy Notes. The teacup is also from Stampin' Up - Tiny Teacup.

More Stamping Fun

It seems like about once a month I really get the urge to make some cards - and I spend a couple of evenings in my craft room stamping. After a while it gets harder to be creative, and so I wander away. This happens with other craft projects as well, and soon I find I have a whole box of half finished projects. Does that ever happen to you?
This week I have been back in "stamping mode" - so here are my newest cards. Maybe they will inspire you to make some of your own. I'd love to see what you are creating! (Leave me a comment and I will visit your blog!)

(The tulip is made from the owl punch and a circle punch. I watched Valita's video tutorial to learn how to make it.)

I get a lot of inspiration from Split Coast Stampers. This website has lots of tutorials, project ideas and cards. You can even look up ideas by stamp set name. Check it out sometime!

Stampin' Crazy

Here's another card I made - just last weekend, with some of the new products I got from Stampin' Up.

I used two die cuts and my Big Shot - the first is the Labels Collection Framelit Dies which I used to cut the orange paper and the white paper inside of the orange.  The piece with the words "thank you" on it was cut with Stampin' Up's Word Window Punch. The butterflies were cut with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die. The ribbon is Stampin' Up's Baha Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon - so cool! I know the patterned paper is from Stampin' Up too, but I don't know the name of it.

I am looking forward to making lots of cards with this Labels Collection. It comes with about 6 sizes of frames, all of which fit inside one another, and they're easy to use with the Big Shot.

Have you made any cards lately?

Owl Cards

I was inspired recently to get out my owl punch from Stampin'Up and make some cards. I realized, while making these cards, why I haven't used the punch lately. These are so many pieces and the pieces are little, that it takes a while to assemble the owl - not to mention the time it takes me to decide which papers to use.
So here are the two newest cards:

I was looking at some other possible uses for this owl punch - and there are quite a few examples online - aliens and tulips to name just two. I think I will be making some other cards using this punch soon.
