There isn't enough time in the week...

There isn't enough time in the week to work full time and ...
*see my grandchildren and love on them often
*write my blogs
*read the books I want to read
*scrapbook
*go out to dinner with all my friends
*spend time with my kids
*work in my garden as much as I'd like
*keep my house clean

I hate having to choose between these things!

Sunday Supper

Last Sunday, before heading home from the cabin, we made nachos for supper. The only things missing were black beans and guachamole - we just didn't have any on hand.

These nachos reminded me of being in Guatemala. We went with Carrie to a restaurant called Monoloco and we ordered their nachos. Carrie had told us that we only needed to order one order - and she was right. It was a huge plate of nachos! I wasn't feeling too good so I didn't eat much, but Craig and Carrie loved it.

Don't our nachos look mouth-watering? They tasted great!

Signs that August is Here

• School supplies are out in all the stores

• I am back to work - at my new school
• The Hanover Festival was last weekend - Our daughter-in-law and grandkids came and stayed overnight so they could enjoy the festivities with us- highlights: Drew squealing everytime someone threw him candy during the parade; Jake and Craig playing baseball with Jake hitting the ball over the house; Izzy sitting in Craig's lap and Drew in mine waiting for the fireworks and talking with Craig about men going to the moon; Jake knocking down all the bottles in a game and winning a big blue hand; Izzy playing hopscotch
