Families and Friends

We are so thankful for our family and our friends!

Yesterday we celebrated Craig's 60th birthday. We invited family and friends to our party, and rented the local city hall community room. We had a great afternoon! During the party we got into a big circle and asked everyone to introduce themselves and say how they knew Craig. We also said that they could tell a short story about Craig if they wanted.
Besides family, there were friends who knew Craig since high school, friends from church, trucking friends, and neighbors. It was so nice to hear the stories they told, and there was one common denominator - they all know what a difference Jesus Christ has made in Craig's life - and are so thankful to God for him. God was glorified at the party,and we felt His presence.

After the party we invited our family back to the house for supper - another good time as we visited with our niece and nephew and their families, one of Craig's cousins, his mom, his sister and brother-in-law, and our kids and grandkids.

I want to thank everyone for making yesterday a fantastic day for Craig!
