Thursday's note: Did you guess what this is? It's an old, old apple tree. The branches are covered with moss. The tree has been trimmed many times, but new growth comes from the old branches, and the new branches will bear fruit. The tree is gnarled and moss covered, but still fruitful.
I want to be like this tree as I get old - still growing, still bearing fruit for the kingdom of God.
