Craft Room Redo

I am on a mission to make my craft room more functional and to do it with beauty.
Here are a couple of my inspiration pictures:

So I have started my organizing some of my supplies, and I have purchased a couple of new pieces for the room. The room has to get messier before it gets better, right?
I am not repainting the walls right now. I like the color, and it goes well with the black furniture that I am buying. Here are a couple of pictures of the "mess" and two of my new purchases:

 Here's the messy closet.
You can see the drawers for my new storage dresser on the bed. (Pictures of the dresser in a future post!) This weekend the bed is going up to the cabin, and the desk is moving downstairs. This will give me room to build a new, longer workspace like the ones in my inspiration pictures.
This little black cabinet is new to me. I found it at my favorite store - This N That in Buffalo, MN. It will be perfect for using my paper cutter and Big Shot die cutting machine.
This cute cabinet is also from This N That. The three drawers pull out from front and back. I put cardstock in one (4 1/4 inch by 8 1/2 inch size - cut for cards), envelopes in another, and store bought cards in the third. At least for right now.

I can't wait to have the room finished so I can start making my Christmas cards. What does your workspace look like?

Hi, I'm new here over from Nanna's Reflections.
Love what you did with your craft room. I too love scrapbooking and altered art type projects. I'm tweaking my little craft space which happens to be part of my bedroom at the moment...I know!
