I am so excited about the new projects I have started this year. Actually, my daughter, Carrie, and I began one of the projects before New Year's Day... but I am just getting it finished now. I'll post a picture of that particular project and the others I'm finishing up later this week.
Last Monday, January 2nd, Carrie and I made a crayon wreath using two embroidery hoops, crayons and hot glue. If I were to make another one I would either paint the hoops first - or use something like a foam wreath for the back. The hoops and crayons are a bit fragile.
Carrie had to go home before we decorated the wreath, but here it is - all finished.
I have it hanging on the side of the mailboxes behind my desk at school. It's just perfect for the office in an elementary school, don't you think?

That is so cute!
Thank you so much for stopping by my BE Creative Co. blog. You are the first official commenter! I appreciate that. I don't use actual scrapbooks, and most of the items I use are thrifted. It's theurapedic (sp.?) for me. I like trying to 'get in the head' of the person I making my book for (which in my daughter's case was easy!)
I love the way it turned out!
