A Great Weekend & New Cards Too!

Last weekend I had a great time at Emily Wesleyan Church for their ladies' scrap booking weekend. There were about 20 ladies, young and old, who came to work on their scrapbooks, sewing, or (in my case) cards, but even more than that they came for the fellowship. It was a great time!
Here are some of the cards I made that weekend. The designs are not my own - I copied or modified cards I found online. Unfortunately, I didn't save the links back to the sites. Sorry!
The first three cards were made with the bird punch from Stampin' Up.

For this card I made a stencil from the bird punch, then I took a sponge and my ink pad to make the bird's shadow.

is also made from a Stampin' Up punch.

I used the owl punch for this baby card too.

The bear is a die cut from Stampin' Up - and I used my Big Shot to cut out all the pieces. I have a die cut for boys' clothes too - and I plan to use these with my grandchildren when they come to visit next week.

This card was so quick to make because it was mostly just cutting paper. The paper came with the pattern on it. (Thanks, Steph, for the pack of paper for Christmas!) The scalloped circle is a die cut from Stampin' Up.

This border is a stamp from Stampin' Up, as is the kindness saying/

And finally, I used an embossing folder and my Big Shot to create the pattern in the dark blue paper. The bird is from the bird punch, and the tag behind the bird is made from Stampin' Up punches as well.

Those are beautiful! I especially like the bird with the shadow, and the bear die cut is too cute!
