The men's hockey team from Bethel University just beat Gustavus College two games in a row. On Friday night they won 4-3 on their own ice at the Schwan's Super Rink in Blaine. Tonight they traveled to St. Peter to play at Gustavus, and they won there 3-2. What makes this so great is that Gustavus came into the weekend with a record of 8-0-0 in MIAC play. Bethel played outstanding hockey. Way to go, Royals!
I have to brag just a little. My son, Jeff, plays for the Royals, and he got 4 points this weekend - for 1 goal and 3 assists. I'm so proud of you, Jeff!
