The Bethel Royals men's hockey team beat St Thomas in the MIAC Championship game 5-3 last night at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine. They played before a sell out crowd. It was awesome. You can read about it here: http://cas.bethel.edu/athletics/Hockey/2007/gamestories/030307ustmiacchamp.htm
It was a hard game for me to watch at times. I worried a bit about Jeff getting hit along the boards. And I remembered the outcome of the games against St. Thomas from the last two seasons of tournament play when Bethel was winning for most of the game, and then lost in overtime. But this year was different! Way to go, Bethel!

Jeff's biggest fans are his brothers, Brenton and Aaron, and his sister Carrie. Here is Brenton and his wife, Stephanie and their youngest son, Andrew. (my third grandchild!)
