I love being a grandma. I love the conversations I have with my grandchildren, the games we play, the hugs and kisses, and all the love they give me.
Last night I brought Jake, Izzy and Drew home to my house while Brenton and Stephanie had a class at Open Door. I was going to take them to their house, but they wanted to come to my house. (That made me feel great!)
We had the best time watching the Donut Man videos and playing. Jake and Izzy are really growing up fast. They are able to entertain themselves but they still like it when I play too. And then there's Andrew. He's crawling now, and he just loved moving from one toy to the next, coming back to my lap occasionally before getting interested in another toy. Actually, it didn't even need to be a toy. He played with anything that was on the floor.
When it was time to go I got lots of hugs and kisses. It was a great evening.
I am looking forward to summer when we can play outside together, go to the park, have picnics, and even some weekends at the cabin.

They had a great time as well. They are already asking to come over again. And they have been talking about the cabin since last summer. Jake is excited to go fishing! Thanks for being so flexible with our schedule and helping us out with the kids. You are a GREAT Nana!
