New School Year

Today is the beginning of the second week of school. I am looking forward to some routine instead of the craziness of last week. We had new students to enroll, late buses, new staff and parents, lots of phone calls, lots and lots of questions, beginning of the year paperwork . . . . It was a fun week - the students are excited about being back at school and seeing their friends- but also an exhausting week.
The new year is off to a good start. The staff members that I work with are fantastic. They love students. They are dedicated to helping students learn. They work with each other. One new staff member commented to me last Friday that she feels as if she's died and gone to heaven because this school is such a nice place to work, that everyone has been very welcoming and helpful to her. I am so thankful that God has put me in this place.

Sounds nice, Kris. What a blessing to your students to have you working for their school. Glad you can enjoy where God has placed you. Hope your good year continues all the way through.
