Thursday, March 17

Thursdays are always a little hard.
I'm tired from not going to bed early enough the first three days of the week, and getting up early to go to work.
Craig's been gone for at least 3 days and I really miss him by Thursday.
Thursday is not Friday.

Today I am trying to see the blessings of today in hopes that it will make the day easier.
Blessings:
The sun is shining and it's 48 degrees. 48 degrees might not be a blessing to some people, but to those of us who have lived through this very long Minnesota winter, it feels almost balmy.
I am healthy...I have a job I like, working with people I like.
I have spaghetti for lunch.
Craig will be home tomorrow and we're going to the cabin.
Tomorrow is Friday :)

What are your blessings today?

I am beginning to memoraize Isaiah 43:
But now, this is what the Lord says-
He who created you, Jacob,
He who formed you, Isreal:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.
