I woke up today thinking that it was Friday. I woke up thinking of the cabin.
Friday is the best day of the week. The whole weekend is ahead, and we usually head north to the cabin right after work.
It's really cold today. The WeatherBug app on my phone says that it's -13.
It doesn't matter what the weather is like when we're at the cabin. It can be sunny or rainy, snowy and cold, or just grey. The wind can be blowing. In fact, it's better when the wind is blowing some because the sound of the wind in the trees is music to my ears.
Whatever the weather, when we're at the cabin the stress of the week melts away.
I woke up this morning thinking of the cabin.
And then I remembered that today is Thursday.......................
